Safely protect important cables, cords, hoses, and pipes in high traffic areas with Elasco UltraGuard Cable Protectors. Cable protectors offer 360° protection and give the user access to their cables by opening and closing the lid on top. The UltraGuard series contains versatile, heavy-duty, low-profile cable ramps appropriate for pedestrian and vehicle traffic, including larger vehicles, and medium-sized construction equipment. Helps prevent foot traffic from accidentally tripping over loose cables. Elasco’s premium, industrial-quality, 36" cable guards are made from solid-cast polyurethane, which is stronger and more durable than typical injection-molded polymers because the hot-cast process provides a long, slow cure and post-cure that enhances the cross-linking of the polyurethane molecule. The UG5140 model includes five 1.38" channels capable of protecting a multitude of pipes or wires. Add left or right-angled units and end caps (sold separately) for added route flexibility. Strong enough to protect cables from vehicle traffic, supporting up to 20,000 lbs. per tire.

Accessories

Accessories for the UG5140 model allow cable turns to be protected as well. Interlocking design allows units to be connected in the configuration that best suits your needs. Choose from: 45° left turn, 45° right turn and end caps (each sold separately).

Elasglow Glow-in-the-Dark Option:

Optional embedded Elasglow glow stripes help increase cable ramp visibility in dark or low-light conditions.
Positioned lengthwise on either side of the ramped surface, strips are clearly visible from either direction.
Glow strips require only 10 seconds of UV exposure to fully charge, and will glow throughout the night with no maintenance, batteries or electricity required.
Glow strips stay illuminated for up to 40 hours in pure darkness, although most units will be in darkness far less than that. Pure darkness is where this material really shines.
Note: looking at the Elasglow strips without dark-adapted eyes (which takes most humans 15-45 minutes) will minimize the vibrancy of the glow material, as will light pollution.
