Create ultra-crisp, long-lasting marks on concrete, pavement, grass, gravel, dirt, and other surfaces. This water-based formula creates accurate markings in bright, durable colors. Suitable for marking the location of underground utilities at construction and excavation sites where identification is desired. Features a precision-line spray tip for easy to read markings with virtually no overspray. Marks more linear feet than any other brand; making your marks go farther and your cost lower. Paint can be applied down to 25° F and dries in less than 5 minutes.
Remove loose contaminants by sweeping the surface before application of the coating. Use when temperature is 40-90°F (10-32°C) and humidity is below 85% to ensure proper drying. This product can be used down to 25°F (-4°C) which may result in a slight reduction of delivery rate. Protect surrounding surfaces from overspray. Overspray can carry a significant distance. Shake can vigorously for one minute after mixing ball is heard. Invert can and point at ground or floor. Hold can 4 to 10 inches above surface to be marked. Press in sideways to spray. If valve clogs, carefully remove spray tip and clean in thinner. DO NOT insert any object into can valve opening.
The American Public Works Association, a non-profit professional association, created a uniform color code for utility companies, both public and private. The colors have become the marking standard across all industries.
