Flagging Tape is a non-adhesive tape used in surveying to mark grade levels, utility lines, survey stakes, and other boundary markers. Also used for temporary trail marking, asset marking and tracking, hazard marking, safety and compliance, and other industrial applications including construction, forestry, hardware, oil exploration, nursery, mining, and geophysics. Our Flagging Tape is made of vibrant, high-visibility, fade-resistant PVC. Surveyors frequently attach their flagging tape to wooden or lathe stakes.
The American Public Works Association, a non-profit professional association, created a uniform color code for utility companies, both public and private. The colors have become the marking standard across all industries.
