All orange traffic cones are perfect for use as sports cones at athletic events, obstacle courses and other types of events that need boundary guidance. Slimline has a narrower cone with a slightly smaller base, so you can use them in tighter spaces and fit more on a truck. Orange traffic cones provide high visibility, advance warning of safety hazards and helps redirect traffic. They have all vinyl construction to ensure durability and flexibility in all weather conditions. These conveniently sized road cones are most often used to mark hazardous areas, utility and road work, construction sites, parking lots and other areas in need of general direction and control.

Stenciling is available. Stenciling a cone can be used to identify your company, municipality, agency, or a particular location. For this cone, stencil is applied during the manufacturing process, before the outer orange color is applied, so the stenciling is highly durable, but a little less vibrant than for cones whose stencils are applied to a finished cone. Minimum of 50 traffic cones required. Call for quote and lead time.
Traffic cones (also called road cones, pylons or pylon cones, safety cones or construction cones) are used to provide advance warning of safety hazards and redirect traffic. When purchasing traffic cones or other channelizers it is important to be informed of safety standards in your areas so that you are meeting the appropriate guidelines.
Cone | Applications |
---|---|
4-6" Cones | These shorter cones are used in athletic events, obstacles courses, and games. |
12" Traffic Cones | Used for indoor and outdoor applications. Indoors you may see these cones used in areas like work areas in a building or slippery floors. Outdoors these cones are most often used in parking lots. |
18" Traffic Cones | 18 inches is the minimum height required for street usage. These cones are typically used outdoors in street work areas, like line painting or other areas needing delineation. |
28" Traffic Cones - 7 lbs. | These cones are more appropriate for non-highway applications that may include street construction areas. Traffic cones of this size and weight are sometimes called 'metro cones'. |
